This open mic event is for those 21+. If you'd like to participate, prepare a five-minute story about feeling young or a story from your youth (this month's theme), or simply listen to the stories of others. Selections from these monthly shows are featured on KJZZ on Saturdays from 3:00-4:00.

Cost: $10-$15

I featured the popular Great Arizona Puppet Theatre last week and they have a new show starting this week. It's "The Little Engine That Could," running Thursday-Sunday this week and the next two weeks. It's another indoor option to keep your little one entertained during the heat of the summer.

🎨 Dave & Buster's Paint & Sip

When: Tues 8/26 | 6:00-8:00p

Where: Dave & Buster's @ Desert Ridge | 21001 N. Tatum Blvd, PHX

Cost: Admission $45/person

Local artist Ryan Merrill guides participants step-by-step through creating a colorful elephant painting while enjoying food and drinks in a fun, social atmosphere that welcomes all skill levels. All art supplies are included in the price, and you can take home your masterpiece. Kids are welcome.
